I was born in Nottingham, England, to modest surroundings. One of four children, I always was a entrepreneur and that mixed with a creative streak saw me customising clothing and accessories which I sold to friends.
After having children and being home with them, I discovered my talent for cake decorating. Word soon began to spread of my talents and people would turn up at my door with a specification for their cake, I created cakes for every occasion and for all kinds of people, from Childrens party cakes to Large commercial clients such as local football club managers.
I ran a successful business in Nottingham for quite a few years, however moving south due to my husbands work to Bournemouth and then on to Southampton, I felt it was time to take a break from that and live life.
I was asked to do some birthday cakes recently for friends, and rediscovered my passion and talent for it. I have now starting the business back up! Since I stopped creating cakes, things have changed somewhat. The invent of the Internet has opened a whole new world for cake creation.
New skills and tools are now available, which is fantastic for me to create visually stunning and tasting cakes. Many of the Images on my gallery are from the first era of my business, and I am gradually increasing the portfolio of recent cakes.

Hi Sandra, I got your name from my friend Joan Daniels, she told me you could help me re-create a cake, this is for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary, I have a picture albeit old and wondered if you could make it for me.
